Henry | Container 1, white
Shelving from Magazin®, Designed by Studio Sergeant
Product description
A shelving tower with multiple uses: HENRY in black and white, small, medium and large can be the object-like focal point in the room or the most discreet piece of furniture. HENRY stands free, autonomous and accessible from all sides as a room divider or as a complementary piece of furniture in the bathroom, living room or hallway. Easy to move via freely rotating concealed rollers. A dividing shelf insert and a drawer – both made of sheet steel and painted in blue or white – complement HENRY and extend its function.
In fact, we strive to achieve this level of variety in terms of application for all of our MAGAZIN products. In the case of HENRY, in addition to its functionality, this small piece of furniture is impressive due to its sophisticated design: panels milled at a 45-degree angle interlock alternately in height. This gives HENRY an extremely fine overall contour and at the same time emphasises the high-quality material by making the laminated wooden core visible. HENRY comes fully assembled. We discovered HENRY and the designers of the Studio Sergeant around the young Belgian Pieter van den Poel at an exhibition of works by graduates of the ”Thomas More Hogeschool Mechelen”. With the name of their piece of furniture, the young designers want to remind us of the architect Henry van der Velde, who built a striking tower in their home town of Ghent: the architecture of the library building, the “Boekentoren”, resembles a stack of books.
The middle sized shelf tower of the series with one box and one flat compartment and a tray at the top. Easy to move on concealed, freely rotating rollers. Delivered already assembled.
Measurements: W 42.5 × D 42.5 × H 68 cm
Weight: 14 kg
Material: birch multiplex (origin: Eastern Europe), 12 mm, coated on both sides with white melamine resin (With multiplex panels originating from car body construction, variations in colour and structure as well as isolated small pressure marks are possible.)

Concept
A shelving tower with multiple uses: HENRY in small, medium and large is an object-like focal point in the room or discreet furniture. HENRY stands freely, independently and accessible from all sides as a room divider or as a complementary piece of furniture in the bathroom, living room or hallway. Easy to move on freely rotating, concealed castors. A shelf insert and a drawer - both made of sheet steel - complement HENRY and extend its function.
We strive for this variety of applications in all our MAGAZIN products. In addition to its functionality, this small piece of furniture impresses with its ingenious design: panels milled at a 45-degree angle interlock at different heights. This gives HENRY a very fine contour and at the same time emphasizes the high-quality material, whose plywood core is thus visible. HENRY comes fully assembled.
