Stiege | Bed, stackable white / ash
Beds from Magazin®, Designed by Konrad Lohöfener
Product description
A beautiful lounger, for restful sleep, quickly stacked: STIEGE is a lounger as well as an appealing single bed. Two of the beds transform from a stacked (single) bed to a double bed in no time at all. The moment you spot a proven and well-known construction element as a striking component of STIEGE – the distinctive solid wood triangular strip you know from wooden fruit and vegetable crates – you immediately recognize the bed as a typical M product. This triangular base serves as a load-bearing element for stacking. The body of the bed is slender, delicate and horizontally accentuated; a design that makes the double-stacked bed a beautiful piece you can use as seating furniture. The single beds, which rest on top of each other with space in between, are easy to grip and easy to handle if you want to place them side by side as a double bed. You assemble STIEGE in a few steps via the eccentric fasteners placed in the corners and using the included tools. We supply the furniture for the classic mattress format of 90 × 200 centimetres. The bed holds any standard slatted frame, although we particularly recommend the slatted frames and mattresses from our range.
Dimensions: W 94 × L 219 × H 23 cm (stacked on top of each other H 41 cm), frame thickness 1.8 cm; the mattress is lowered by 10.5 cm (measuring of the heights without inserted mattress)
Please note: You can stack one STIEGE on top of another one if and only if the height of the slatted frame plus mattress is 15 cm or less.
Items delivered: one single bed
Weight: 15 kg
Material: Bed frame: Birch multiplex (origin in Eastern Europe), 18 mm, coated on both sides with white melamine resin (the multiplex panels originate from a car body construction shop and may show differences in color and structure as well as occasional small pressure marks), slatted frame support: spruce/fir (origin in Germany), legs: ash, untreated (origin in Germany)
