Concept

Vibrant, electric, blunt and gritty, this capsule collection – based on Sophie Dariel’s illustrations – features seven pieces that bring back New York’s autumn memories.
While the graphic patterns of the background reflect that whatever the season the city exist in black and white to the great tunes of jazz, the rugs as well depict why the town is at its best during the cool days of autumn.
Wandering through Central Park, the gingko trees turning bright yellow against the high blue skies, everything crisp and golden as an apple. Autumn in New York collection captures these dreamlike images. Juicy autumnal fruits, glowing foliage and explosion of colors…a graphic answer to Billie Holiday’s question “Autumn in New York, what does it seem so inviting?”
