Podotone

Podotone is a long-lasting and adaptable floor guidance and stair warning system from Marcal. 
Podotone is the only product available on the market that serves the needs of the blind and vision impaired individuals by providing additional visual contrast to optimize their safety of movement within a building. Podotone provides architects and designers with a complete guidance and stair warning system solution for the blind and vision impaired individuals. 


Podotone is comprised of a stainless steel base (AISI 316L) that is mounted directly by using adhesive, or pre-drilled mounting holes to accept the product stem. A unique non-skid surfaced 'disk' inserts within the top portion of the button. These non-skid surfaced disks are available in black, gray, yellow or red and are resistant to UV radiation, oils, greases, salts, acids, alkalines and detergents. Buttons and plates are available in widths of 25 (1") or 35 mm (1.3").
