The Strand bed by Mattsons is the first and most exclusive frame-style bed in the collection, offering a contemporary design and a luxurious sleeping experience. What sets the Strand apart is its unique floating sensation, achieved by the innovative stacking of spring systems in the base, delivering optimal support and comfort.

Top Mattress:
The top mattress features 7 layers of wool, cotton, and horsehair for a soft yet supportive feel. Hand-marked and tufted with cotton tufts, this 10 cm thick mattress provides exceptional breathability and temperature regulation for a restful sleep.

Base:
The base of the Strand bed is crafted with 12 layers of premium materials, including a 16 cm slow-grown Swedish pine frame and both 13 cm and 9 cm active pocket springs. These springs work together to create a floating sensation, ensuring optimal support and weight distribution. The 38 cm thick base offers a durable, stable foundation for years of comfortable sleep.

Personalization & Fabrics:
Each Strand bed can be customized with over 100 fabrics or any fabric of your choosing, allowing you to design a bed that fits your personal style and preferences.

Overall:
Standing at 48 cm high (excluding legs), the Strand bed is built with 19 layers of premium materials, including active pocket and bonnell springs, and 7 natural materials to deliver unmatched comfort, support, and durability.
