Distinctive form and modularity redesigned — Kaiva is a soft furniture system that leaves the final decision regarding the shape to the end user. The block construction was inspired by stacked stones. The foundation of various layouts are just few freely movable simple elements that can be combined. Kaiva stands for conversation in Japanese and can become a place of teamwork or informal meetings. Integrated seats and backrests provide acoustic comfort, what eliminates the need of creating additional partitions. That is why Kaiva favours individual work that requires concentration. Soft form, top-notch materials and vivid colours create casual atmosphere. The system can be employed in offices, hotels, waiting rooms, and public spaces.

Concept

Characteristic form and modular structure – Kaiva is a soft furniture system that allows its users to create their own set. The line was inspired by an image of stacked stones. According to the concept, various configurations are based on just few elements, that can be freely combined and modified. As its name means conversation in Japanese, Kaiva can serve both as a place of collaborative work and informal meetings as well as a place of individual focused work. Featuring soft form, touch-friendly fabrics and large colour palette, it introduces positive atmosphere into a workplace. This range can be used in office spaces, hotels, waiting areas and public places.
