MetallArt designed an impressive steel stringer staircase for the five-star-plus hotel The Fontenay in Hamburg: with an effective width of 1,500mm, the premium staircase fits perfectly into the cozy ambiance. A rectangular handrail in wenge wood was inserted into the parapet-high flat-steel stringers on both sides of the staircase, which take on the function of a balustrade. Due to the steel soffit cladding and the steps in folded design the steel stringer stairs get their sculptural character. A further special feature in the hotel's light-flooded piano bar is the all-glass railing in white glass finish. An elegant stainless steel U-profile serves as upper completion of the glass railing.
