Spectacular spiral stairs at the PANEUM - museum of bread in Asten

Staircase systems from MetallArt Treppen, Designed by Coop Himmelb(l)au

Product description

In Asten, on the premises of the baking ingredients manufacturer "backaldrin", the PANEUM - Museum of Bread is located. The centrepiece of this spectacular building is the self-supporting spiral staircase with parapet-high stringers by MetallArt. The special feature of the spiral staircase is the 5-flight floor plan, corresponding to an inverted cone. A striking interplay of materials and lighting is created due to the transparent all-glass balustrades on all three levels and lighting consoles along the outer handrails. All handrails are in evenly rounded and ascending design.

Concept

MetallArt also impresses casual customers with spectacular stair constructions in cultural buildings such as museums or restaurants. For years, the company has been one of the best addresses for upscale special staircase constructions and guarantees quality at the highest level.
