millelumen’s claim to create customized lighting solutions is also fulfilled in the OVAL pendant luminaire through the extensive configuration options of lighting technology, control options and suspensions.

The lines of the OVAL pendant luminaire are impressing thanks to the gently curved, yet pared-down profile cross-section and matching end caps, milled out of a block of aluminium. Due to the absence of sharp edges, the luminaire body can also convince with its haptics.


In the OVAL pendant luminaire, powerful, efficient LEDs are used. But efficiency calculated from lumens per watt is not everything: light must first and foremost serve people and their health and well-being, and so we at millelumen place particu- lar emphasis on high color rendering and flicker-free. With CRI >90 for BASIC WHITE (2700 K) and >95 for COMFORT WHITE (2300-4000 K) we meet the demand for high color rendering close to natural light. High-quality control gear specially developed for LED lighting ensures freedom from flickering. A specially developed acrylic glass with integrated microprisms ensures that the light is diffused glare-free downwards to the table surface and upwards to the indirect ceiling lighting. As with all millelumen luminaires, the integrated LED technology as well as the LED control gear and all other technical parts are easily replaceable.

OVAL meets the versatile requirements of light control. There is a variety of control types to choose from: In the basic version, OVAL is externally dimmable via wall dimmers. For an additional charge, sensor control is available for dimming via intuitive hand gestures on the underside of the luminaire, or alternatively control via the Bluetooth-based Casambi app and optionally available Casambi pushbuttons. Other control options such as DALI or Zigbee are also available on request.

The canopy of the OVAL pendant luminaires is not a disturbing element, but a harmonious part of the design thanks to its rounded edges and floating structure. Fine, almost invisible strands carry the low voltage and at the same time hold the luminaire. In addition to the basic version with 150 cm rigid strand suspension, which can be extended at extra cost, there are two different height adjustment options: COMFORT-LIFT: Simple, infinitely variable height adjustment by manually pulling the luminaire is made possible by a patented roll-up mechanism in the ceiling canopy.
MOTOR-LIFT: For maximum comfort, there is the option of motor-driven height adjustment. The height can be continuously adjusted to your desired height by the electric motor in the ceiling canopy via the Casambi app or optionally available Casambi wall switches. Integra- tion into other smart home control systems is possible on request.

OVAL is made entirely of recyclable aluminum in Europe using precision technology. The aluminum is hand-brushed in a manual process and finished with special paints by specialized companies in Germany. Five color variations are available:
