We wanted to enhance the overlooked role of the screen within the indoor environment, introducing a decidedly dramatic element that could have come from a Wes Anderson film. Taking advantage of the transparency of the cane, Colony shows a clear and strong personality, presenting itself as a figure that amazes and attracts.

Concept

We have been thinking about it for a while now and this year we decided to start a family. We are broadening the discussion which began in 2013 with the Colony armchair, making the cane chair the protagonist in a collection that blended the artisan with modern industrial manufacturing. Each product, from the dining table to the screen, has its own life and attains an original identity, both singularly and in a group. The result is an authentic mood, with complementary, well-balanced materials.
