Sfera, the new table designed by Ron Gilad, is the latest in the Israeli designer’s ironic, logical and absurd – but not excessively absurd – experiments. Geometry applied to steel, Sfera takes the possibilities of bending material to extreme limits, with pewter or brass finishes, and an extra clear glass top. An object that is frozen music, controlled dynamism, predetermined madness. A leap into the fourth dimension, Gilad-style.
