Concept

We wanted to make a carpet design using the full width and length of the printers capacity. Why be limited when you have a 4 x 40 meters canvas?! Very often carpets are modest, their small scale patterns and colors act so that they can be treated as a superficial surface and blend in with their environment.“Mini Tatami” definitely go beyond a nice surface and will affect and define the architecture of any room. Tatami consists of bright colored rectangles. A colorful graphic representation of the traditional Japanese flooring system.
