Darling
Architonic ID: 1469839
The Darling is created by thinking of memory, the process in which information is encoded, stored, and retrieved. This shape is recognizable, recalling the items that are traditionally created, vernacular and organic – such as stools in traditional houses in rural areas. MOYA designers formed the abstraction of memory, by turning familiar shape into a monolith – an essential sculpture that echoes the intimacy.
This piece of furniture brings charm in modern living room interior, and can be made in a variety of colors, depending on the effect that a client wishes to achieve.
“Science and technology revolutionize our lives, but memory, tradition and myth frame our response.”
Arthur M. Schlesinger
