Product description

Wall-mounted circular mirror with blackened steel frame. Bronze or grey tinted glass available. Supplied with two screw fixing points to rear face. Hand crafted in the North of England.

An ancient technique used to protect steel from corrosion, blackodisation consists of burning a mix of oil and wax before applying the residue to raw metal. The result is a rich, dark, tactile surface with a subtle scaly texture.

80cm (diameter) x 20mm (depth).
