Drapery fabrics from Nuno / Sain Switzerland, Designed by Reiko Sudo, Sayuri Shimoda

Sashiko Stripe black/beige
Concept
Finesashiko embroidery, by which two layers of cotton cloth are stitched together in decorative patterns, was traditionally used in Japan to reinforce and embellish worn fabrics. NUNO's SASHIKO is not a true sashiko, but a jacquard double-weave of two different materials, back and front, which are interwoven in places with"sashiko-style" patterns.
