Functionality is very important in addition to the design where television or audio furniture is concerned. This is why I decided to leave the equipment in full view, allowing the user to zap to his heart’s content without the need for doors or flaps to be left open. I ensured the open space could form part of the design in order to make it as attractive as possible. The open section has thereby become an actual element, as both the top and bottom are closed up by the basic shape; your eyes will effectively be completing the shape of the open section.
An important – and often underestimated – function of a piece of television or audio furniture is the hiding of the cables behind the equipment.
This piece of furniture has a double rear wall, which has created a hidden container which offers sufficient space for the cables and even a junction box. Design and functionality are thereby combined in perfect harmony.

We can also offer a solution if your equipment proves to be just a little too big for the furniture. We can produce a tailor made piece of furniture for you with a 16 cm height. 16 cm would also be the maximum height in order to safeguard the furniture’s original design.

Inner drawer sizes
- Depth: 35 cm
- Width: 69 cm (180 cm version)
- Width: 39 cm (120 cm version)

The drawers have a perfect height for easily and neatly storing your CD’s and DVD’s.

Television
The RKNL Audio can bear a total weight of 100 kg. So you can therefore easily position your television on top of the furniture.

Material:
The RKNL Audio is made from high quality MDF and curved wood. The choice for these materials mean that the RKNL Audio is build to last and has a very solid feel to it. The exquisite finish with multiple layers of lacquered paint ensure a sophisticated look.

The Finish
The RKNL furniture’s applied finish could be considered an Odesi trademark. We demand very high quality and are only satisfied with a perfectly lacquered product.

The paint that is used in spraying the furniture consists of a special dual-component lacquer which hardens to become more resistant to scratches.

Colours
The RKNL furniture for Odesi have become well known and especially the high-gloss white versions have reached iconic status. There are 4 standard colours. But custom colours are also possible.
