Concept
Great interaction between discreet lighting and Roman architecture. The abbey church in Lippoldsberg in Niedersachsen in Germany is one of the most important ecclesiastical buildings from the Late Middle Ages, thanks to the consistent used Roman style and the fantastic preservation work. That much the greater was the challenge for the architect company Prof. Schürmann & Partner from Köln in regard to design and development of a suitable lighting for the abbey church.
The simplicity of the lighting adapts to the Roman construction style and ensures that the interaction between abstract shape and tradition is perfect.
