Beta

Colombo’s project called for the use of an original axial assembly system that was particularly robust, concealed by a shock absorber made of resin that made a doorstop superfluous. The system was recognised as an invention and patented. The twofold function was integrated in a slender and futuristic shape in the model Paracolpi Alfa. In the 2000s, the adoption of an assembly system with a grub screw allowed for the reproduction of the original shape and special elegance of the Beta handle. Ignazia Favata
