Concept

Energised by a passion for period styles and a taste for extravagance in the domestic environment, I sought to interpret the theme of the door handle with originality and glamour. Like a jewel enhances the complexion of the wearer, so the detail of the door handle embellishes the surface of the door, becoming the focal point. The shaft element of Dolce Vita is inspired by classical stylistics. The lever is a perfectly minimal cylinder. Together they generate a previously unseen relationship between two seemingly antithetical languages, resulting in a wonderful polarity, merged into the design of a door handle for the first time.
