ILletto canopy bed

The moment we take a rest is that which brings us closest to memories and dreams. ILletto designed by Lapo Ciatti, presented in an exclusive textile edition conceived together with Maurizio Galante and Tal Lancman, is an example of how bespoke projects can prompt debate, when discussing the pieces to be included in a collection, on formerly unexplored topics. Inspired by the pieces made for the suites of OFF (Editor’s note: the hotel flottant in Paris, whose interior design was conceived by Opinion Ciatti), this bed, characterised by essential lines and that is fully customisable (in size, finishes and variations) can even become fairytale-like with the involvement of Galante and Lancman. Thanks to the experience of the French-Italian duo in the field of haute couture, the structure is enriched by a simple yet refined impalpable tulle that is folded by hand and makes up the drapes that are fixed with soft ribbons to further define the boundaries between public and private dimensions. It is a bed that we have all dreamed of at least once in our lifetime.
