Ancient but contemporary, the variegated cotto represents an Italian excellence of flooring in the Po Valley of Northern Italy, mainly used to pave both houses and historic dwellings. The square format sized 25x25, full body colored and the combination of marbled graphics created thanks to the digital technology give it a contemporary look, creating Surfaces that resemble of the most ancient Japanese technique of marble decorative paper, called Suminagashi, a mood of the moment also called “marble paper”. This is the peculiarity of “the variegated cotto”: typical colors of clays mixed together forming “marble veins”.
