Bubi L020
Floor lights from Pandul, Designed by Henning Koppel
Product description
Concept
Pandul has relaunched one of Henning Koppel’s most famous lamps, the BUBI lamp, in a beautiful 2010 version available with a chrome top and cords in several colours. It is said that the unique, organic shape of the BUBI lamp was created one sunny summer day when Henning Koppel made a drawing of his very young grandson in his beautiful garden. Although the grandson’s bucket hat inspired the basic shape of the new pendant lamp, it bears the unmistakable mark of several of Koppel’s renowned silverwork pieces for Georg Jensen. Henning Koppel was an artist of international stature with the ability to create unique shapes that elevate his designs to classics that delight generation after generation.
