Concept
Reused history is a collaboration between Tomas kral and PCM with the Royal Glass Factory of La Granja de San Ildefonso in Segovia, Spain. This initiative tries to promote Spanish craftworks legacy from a contemporary point of view and to support the manufactory, one of the three left in Europe that still blows the glass with XVIII century techniques. The project consists of a series of three vases and a set of glassware with a jar taken from original oil lamp molds from late XIX century belonging to the Royal Factory collection fallen into disuse. With slight interventions and different decoration a dialogue between the old and new appears.
