Junco
Bedframes from Pedano, Designed by Pino Pedano
Product description
Concept
The Junco structure, patented in 1986, has never stopped being up-to-date. 14 slats made of evaporated beech-wood, suspended above elastic rubber, support and gently accompany our movements throughout sleep. During rest, every part of the body receives from the Junco slats an equal thrust offsetting its weight and which leads to total relaxation and releases muscular tensions.
In particular, the spine benefits from this suspension: by counterbalancing the weight on the back, the intervertebral discs can decompress, thus “breathing” and rehydrating themselves. This process further safeguards a vital part of the nervous system contained in the spinal cord, the marrow, and enables a regeneration that is immediately noticeable upon awakening, when the back will have re-gained its natural capacity to cushion the weight of the body.
