Colcha Hand Carved Stool
Stools from Pfeifer Studio
Product description
Handcarved sections in a quilted pattern form a visual meringue in a solid wood table and make it appear, cloud-like, to float while showcasing the unique wood graining of each section. Rough-cut solid pine logs are harvested in the mountains of Northern New Mexico, dried in a solar kiln, shaped and sanded by hand, then finished per your specifications.
Material:
Ponderosa Pine
Harvested primarily in the mountains of Northern New Mexico, the wood is seasoned for several months in a solar kiln and allowed to develop organic cracks and separations which occur naturally as the wood dries and shrinks. Time may accentuate these separations, or generate new ones. This movement is considered inherent to the natural beauty of the design.
Dimensions:
16 diameter x 18 H inches
