This chair is composed of 15 longitudinal sections and 5 transversal. Leaving a gap of air between pieces gives this surface chair a lighter look letting light and shadows pass through it.

Concept
Piegatto double section surfaces is a collection of objects created from a very wide range of uses ranging from big sculptures, wine racks, chairs and accessories.
The concepts applied are the same, although the size varies dramatically from one object to another. The principal concepts that define this technique are as follows:
The piece should always have a predominant direction…
The connection between longitudinal and transversal sections should be invisible.
The gap between every section should be equal to the depth of the sections.
Follow a red line… a path filled with passion.
