Plexwood - Panel one-sided

Plexwood is an innovative interior design veneer, composed of end grain wood and with the grain veneers, which give the product a clear linear structure. Plexwood can be used for floors, walls, ceilings, staircases, furniture, and company logos, amongst many other conceptual applications. End grain wood, one of the main components of Plexwood, is harder than regular cut wood, making Plexwood products suitable for high traffic environments like public spaces, office, retail, education and health care environments. In our production we do not use formaldehyde based glue or volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Plexwood can meet almost any sustainability standard or certification.

Available in 11 products: Strip, Parquet strip, Plank, Tile, Panel one-sided, Panel two-sided, Panel flexible, Geometric, Solid, Profile and Special.

The standard measurement of Panel one-sided is ± 2400 x 1200 x 12 mdf + 2.5 mm Plexwood top layer. The maximum panel size is ± 3000 x 1200 mm, other sizes are upon request. The lining of the Plexwood can run along the length (2400 mm) or along the width (1200 mm) of a panel. Panels with length sizes > 2400 mm have staggered joints. We offer a wide range of substrates in various thicknesses, such as coloured mdf, zero-added formaldehyde mdf, fire retardant mdf in Euroclass B/ C, mdf V313, plywood, lightweight panels, door- and sandwich panels, maritime panels, and many other options.

The advantage of a matching plywood substrate is that the lining of the Plexwood on top continues with the lining of the plywood on the sides. For this reason corner joints are easier to make as miter joints may not be necessary (a square joint can be made). Additionally, the edges would not need further modification.
