Concept
Tosa is a collaboration between Heike Buchfelder and the installation artist Jan-Peter E.R. Sonntag. The expansive steel structure, formed over the lines of the electrical cable, curves upwards to hold the luminous feather ball. Tosa is a one-of-a-kind piece designed and crafted specifically for each particular space.
Materials: goose quill feathers, powder-coated steel stand; available in various color combinations
Dimensions: diameter of shade approx. 70-75 cm; variable height approx. 250-300 cm, fitted with 3 E27 downward-pointing bulb sockets and one upward-pointing E27 bulb socket suitable for halogen bulbs up to max. 50/105 watts or other E27-compatible bulbs, for example LED bulbs.
