Jean-Marie Massaud deconstructs and reconstructs the classic dining table chair according to the principles of radical architecture. The result is Jeff: a fixed or revolving chair, with or without armrests, and a stool. Perfectly recognisable primary geometries. A circle for the seat. A cylindrical profile for the backrest. Four intersecting lines for the base. Elements that meet in an extremely modern seat, almost a sculpture. A noble and sophisticated presence that distinguishes and characterises the space. Clean and distinct forms, soft and precious materials and manual craftsmanship that almost make it a piece of art. Throughout the Jeff collection the structure of the seat is in birch plywood with polyurethane foam padding. The backrest is made up of two shells in rigid polyurethane with internal padding in polyurethane foam. Armrests with metal structure, completely upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather. The upholstery can be completely in Pelle Frau® leather or in adjustable aesthetic and material combinations of Pelle Frau® leather for the exterior and fabric for the interior. The blade-like legs are in titanium painted steel. All stitching is tone on tone and creates a subtle geometric pattern on the back of the backrest. The steel base comes in a fixed version or a 360° swivel version with automatic return to the starting position.
