Concept
The collection of two glass elements, comes from the collaboration between Portego and the Simone Crestani Atelier, one of the best borosilicate glass artist know in Europe and US for his majestic creations. Algae, as the name reminds, comes from the inspiration of the seaweed, which is the main plant in the Venetian area.
The glass has been modellate like a clay, to get the gurative rapresentations on the top of two container elements. The theme is linked to the Laguna ceramic collection, where it has been already explored by Chiara Andreatti in 2D illustrations.
