Concept
Calm, elegant floorboards
The Douglas - a majestic tree with growth heights of up to 70m and a unique wood texture. Douglas fir is one of the hardest coniferous woods native to Germany, extremely sturdy and very well suited for use as flooring.
The extraordinary floorboard widths of up to 450mm wide and 15.0m long offer impressive design possibilities, especially for large rooms. pur natur Douglas floorboards are available both as solid floorboards in thicknesses of 22-35mm and as 3-layer floorboards in thicknesses of 16-21mm.
In the manufacturing process, the Douglas floorboards are sorted into two optical expressions, which emphasise the natural growth characteristics of the trees to different degrees: »Natur« with a somewhat stronger knot pattern, »Select« with a weaker knot pattern.
Our natural surface treatments allow for versatile design and fine-tuning of the appearance in the room.
Douglas floorboards from pur natur have always been manufactured in Germany. The Douglas fir logs used come from the Black Forest or surrounding forests. Direct purchasing from the forest enables us to provide complete proof of the origin of the wood.
All pur natur floorboards are suitable for use on underfloor heating.
