Solid surface is a composite material, made using either a polyester or acrylic resin as a bonding agent with solids drawn from nature like Aluminium Trihydrate (Aluminum Trihydrate in US English). All the solid surface material produced exclusively for Riluxa is made of the highest quality acrylic resin, which performs better than polyester over long periods because it doesn’t yellow with age.
