Concept
SPOOL gives life to a new, vibrant story composed of weaves and attractive shadow effects created by the light that filters from the sections of the backrest: the result is a collection with an explosive design, a perfect balance between strength and lightness that doesn’t neglect the comfort of the seating that can accommodate a large number of soft cushions. The padded tubular backrest variant, enveloping and understated, is complemented by the rope version, available in a wide palette of tones.
SPOOL is composed of two- and three- seater sofas, a lounge chair and low tables available in two sizes, with a stainless steel powder coated structure in smoke or milk color, and a top in stone or gres.
Undisputed protagonist of outdoor furniture, this collection can color any exterior space thanks to the several variants and combinations available, also leaving space for a great personalization.
The collection is also available with the exclusive RODA | Missoni fabrics. This collaboration brings together Missoni’s sophisticated style and RODA’s manufacturing excellence to create outdoor furniture with a unique character. Jacquard fabrics with vibrant colors and refined textures dress the brand’s iconic pieces in a perfect balance of creativity, elegance, and artisanal craftsmanship made in Varese.

Architect and designer Rodolfo Dordoni was born in Milan, where he graduated in Architecture. Responsible in the past for the art direction of Artemide (glass collection), Cappellini (from 1979 to 1989), Fontana Arte (furniture collection), Foscarini (lamps), Minotti (from 1998 until today) and Roda, he designs for various companies, including: Artemide, Cappellini, Cassina, Dornbracht, Driade, Emu, Ernestomeda, Fiam Italia, Flos, Flou, Fontana Arte, Foscarini, Jab, MatteoGrassi, Minotti, Molteni & C., Moroso, Olivari, Pamar, Roda, RB Rossana, Sambonet, Serralunga, The Rug Company, Venini. Dordoni Architetti, founded in association with architects Alessandro Acerbi and Luca Zaniboni, deals with architectural planning and interior design, developing projects for houses, residential complexes, industrial and commercial areas such as offices, stores and showrooms, restaurants, hotels, yachts, as well as exhibit stands of diverse commercial fields.
