Product description

Concept

A modern chandelier made of optical fibres using modern technology, that makes it able to be placed in wet environments such as outdoors, baths etc. The lightbulp is protected, placed in a waterresistant box above the chandelier.
Optical fibres lead 99% of the light one way through the fibre. 1% is permission or loss through the sides. This loss of light creates a dimm light in a blue colour coming from the sides of the fibres. The fibre ends giving 99% of the light all points down giving light to e.g. the table or the room. The light is soft and colour can be changed by use of a central filter in the lightbox just above the chandelier.
The halogen light is build in a cooling box measuring 150 x70 x70 mm. The box is fixed in the round cylinder above the chandelier. Fibres (80 all in all) are mounted together on to the box by a fitting.
The chandelier is mounted to the ceiling by a hook and can be adjusted when installing it by pushing up the small rubber-tubes on the optical fibres.
