Iron. Leather. Glass. The Monaco lounge series combines these natural materials into an exclusive indoor range with a elegant architectural form. Monaco Lounge Chair is a fantastic combination of a big comfortable chair without being clumsy. It is made for both domestic and public enviroments. With thin lines in a big format Monaco Lounge Chair is elegant yet evident in its form. The frame is varnished and excists in two different styles. There are also two different leather variations. In addition to the classic colours, black and white we have developed a variant with a protective clear matt coating over the natural metal surface. Any working marks and welds are left clearly visible and tell the story of each individual piece, giving an industrial feel, Röshults have decided to call this ”treatment” RAW as with all our furniture we always carefully selected only the very finest materials. Our leather comes exclusively from the Swedsih company ELMO whose animals all come from within Scandinavia. Each skin celebrates it’s natural heritage with insect bites and visible scars. We have chosen to use two-ply leather which is glued offering its beautiful surface on both sides. The cushions are then stuffed with down to achieve the highest level of luxury, comfort and durability.
