Rugs from Rug Company, Designed by Suzanne Sharp
Product description
Concept
Tibetan wool and silk
Nepalese Rugs
The Rug Company has a number of small workshops in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal. From these looms come a stunning array of hand knotted rugs in a myriad of designs and colours. We use the finest hand-spun Tibetan wool, highlighted with lustrous silk and dyed using traditional methods. We can specify a knot count of either 60, 100 or 150, giving a softer chunkier feel or a more refined and detailed finish. We can also create interesting textures by combining areas of cut and loop pile or varying the pile height.
