Concept
A project that originated as a sculpture-cum-object, Ta_Volo® represents a meeting of two strong and highly distinctive materials: marble and iron.
Franz Siccardi’s concept was born out of the idea of producing a contrast to the power and strength of stone by creating a sensation of suspension and lightness, and hence the name Ta_Volo®, where ‘volo’ in Italian means ‘flying’ and ‘Tavolo’ is the word for ‘table’.
