Shatter proof and blast resistant, this product can be used for the most demanding safety applications due to its patented impact-absorbing backing. The glass remains intact upon breaking, producing no dangerous shards or shrapnel, though premium performance comes at a price.
Due to the safety performance of this backing layer, thinner and therefore lighter panels can be used in place of the heavier PVB interlayered products of comparable performance.
The high quality low iron glass utilised ensures a bright white appearance with minimal colour tint. The product can be coloured with a protected back painted layer or digitally printed for a range of design options. The backing method means that this product is completely opaque.
