Concept
In both commercial property and apartment development, flexible space concepts are becoming increasingly popular. Their strength lies mainly in their repurposability - a challenge that is becoming more and more important as we strive for sustainability in every aspect of our lives.Divider systems allow users to expand or section off spaces in just a few simple steps. Transparent partitions like Solarlux’s glass dividers allow more light into spaces while still offering good sound insulation, and can be retrofitted at any time.
Thanks to their minimalist floor tracks, there are currently three Solarlux systems that can be integrated into indoor spaces. These systems have been deliberately designed to cater to very different applications and design expectations: the non-insulated bi-folding door system SL 45 Flexa, the insulated bi-folding door system Ecoline Flexa, and the non-insulated horizontal sliding wall SL60-HSW Flexa. The SL60-HSW Flexa doesn’t even need a floor track, as its load-bearing retainer and guide rails are housed in the ceiling. This variant is especially useful for room-in-a-room concepts, as it allows the flooring to run seamlessly underneath the elements.
