And this modular is now also available with high quality upholstered seating. Especially useful when deployed as media furniture in offices and conference rooms, Catena is also available with a projector drawer. This makes it possible to project presentations and films straight onto the wall without needing an extensive projector installation and supplying expensive cables. Additionally, it can be used as a mobile projector unit in various rooms.

In contrast to the high-gloss painted surfaces of other furniture items, the glass surfaces of Catena are considerably brighter, more scratch-resistant and much easier to look after. Catena is available in over 2,000 colours as well as in combinations (e.g. white front and black glass support).

The most beautiful aspects of Catena is everything that you do not see.
Above the horizontal cable holes between the cabinet units, technical devices can be cleanly cabled together. Because of recesses, there is also room for multiple sockets behind the furniture. Our diathermic curtains serve as a screen from the front and as a dust protection from the back. In compartments without components, screens prevent a view oft he back area.

In order to appreciate the investment with ears as well as with eyes, Catena comes with integrated sound systems. Depending on the furniture size, there is the choice of a one module system (CTA1) or a four module system (CTA2) with proportionately bigger soundstage. Both systems incorporate a speaker unit with subwoofers and a digital surround receiver (amplifier with an integrated RDS tuner/radio). The fact that the sound matches that of genuine surround systems has been proved in tests by specialist magazines.

Top drawer presentations.
The integrated Catena projector drawer ist externally invisible and concealed within the furniture. The projector is ready for use in a few seconds by just pulling out the drawer. Combined with an integrated sound system, Catena becomes an elegant complete solution for training rooms, conference rooms and offices – with no complex installation of loudspeakers or projectors.

It´s Showtime.
Lights out, drawer open, projector on, action – that’s all it takes to transform Catena into a captivating home cinema. The multi-colour LED illumination creates a special ambiance. With the system’s infrared remote control it is possible to choose a colour to suit your mood, or create a fascinating light show. Along with the colours, it is also possible to opt for a pleasant white light. The brightness is adjustable.
