Inspired by the craftsmanship and heritage of shoe making in England, Harlequin Layered Tile draws upon the technique of Broguing and combines it with a bold pattern inspired by traditional woodworking and marquetry techniques. Belting leather and Recycled Leather is precision laser cut and layered to create a pattern inspired by the detailing of traditional mens shoes but interpreted with a modern, bold geometry. Genevieve Bennett is a visual designer based in London whose bespoke leatherwork is rooted in the tradition of the decorative arts and yet has a bold contemporary aesthetic of intelligence and creative beauty.
