Product description

Derby is an adjustable parabola in a sound-absorbent material covered in fabric for both direct and indirect light. Offering diffused emission or output with darklight screening for UGR control, Derby is deal in work environments. Designed to reduce glare and improve visual and acoustic comfort, its dual function is perfectly executed.

Lamp body in 100% sound absorbent polyester fiber covered in grey, brown or two-tone orange/white fabric. Black lateral edge. Double dimmable topLED source: diffused indirect emission and direct emission in the diffused versions or with UGR<16 darklight optics. Ceiling rose in white painted metal (with orange/white fabric) or black painted metal (with grey or brown fabric). Support cables in steel, black conductor cable.

Concept

The women’s hats worn during the prestigious trotting derbies inspired the shape and name of this product. The Derby ceiling light is used to decorate spaces and at the same time improve acoustic quality, trapping part of the reverberation generated by surrounding sounds and noise.
The circular and curved acoustic insulation panel is offered in various colours and houses two sources of light, the upper one of which always provides diffused light. The direct light is available in the version with optical dispersion or with UGR<16 darklight optics which make it ideal for workplaces.
