Concept
Conceived in 1957, two unique copies were created for the Milan Chamber of Commerce. Today, the Saliscendi is re-engineered with dimmable LED light sources. A technological jewel hidden from most, the Saliscendi finally emerges as an adjustable dual-emission metal lamp. The luminous body and reflective disc slide silently along the cables, moving through a system of pulleys to ensure perfectly modulated lighting. Travelling in the opposite direction, the two elements diffuse more direct or indirect light depending on the distance by which they are separated.
