Jesús Gasca, the founder of STUA, and his son Jon Gasca, have created the new STUA design: Libera armchair.
The visual character of Libera comes from its wooden frame, where the legs are connected with the arms in a fluid way. The designers have worked the wood material with liberty, as if it was a liquid. Using contemporary technology the wooden surfaces are now tactile and organic. Libera has also a surprising comfort achieved by the use of new elastic materials.
Following the quote of Mies Van Der Rohe “God is in the details” the frame of Libera has a classic shape, with details enhanced thought the use of state-of-the-art technology.
The result is an armchair with a resounding silhouette and a great ergonomy. Another new classic in the STUA collection.
