Diade Wall Panel
Sound absorbing wall systems from Submaterial, Designed by David Hamlin
Product description
The Diade wall panel from Submaterial is made to order at any dimension, and our fabrication allows us to create panels which join easily and seamlessly into large continuous works. There are many pattern variations to choose from, and the dense natural materials make Diade a great choice when artwork has to do double-duty as an acoustic enhancement. Submaterial uses only the highest quality sustainable wool felt and natural cork in the creation of our panels. Our adhesives are GreenGuard certified low VOC. As with other wall panels from Submaterial, the Diade panel is easy to install using our integrated cleat system and included hardware.
Concept
A unique design collaboration between product designer David Hamlin at Submaterial and interior designer Sarah Denae at Sparc Designs in Portland, OR has resulted in the Diade modular felt panel for residential and commercial environments. Working from a 2-D pattern created with the Portland residential client in mind, Submaterial developed the idea into a three-dimensional, modular panel system that can be easily installed by the customer with a minimum of tools. Colors and finished size can be customized to suit any space.
