What makes the uni 20 slat base unique is the use of patented and distinctive Swissflex wave springs – a technology that has been setting the highest standards in the industry for over 20 years and remains an unrivalled system to this day. Freely suspended wave springs are attached to a centrally positioned frame, creating balanced pressure and support through spring deflections, which is simply impossible to achieve with traditional slat bases. The use of different elastic wave springs and the manually adjustable strength and firmness of each pair of multipoint connectors allows for personalised “body zoning” for different users with different sleeping habits.

– 6cm spring deflection for each pair of multipoint connectors
– Additional elastic multipoint connectors in shoulder section
– Automatic synchronisation of the sleep surface – always 100% horizontal, even when lying on the edge
– The freely suspended wave springs respond to the least amount of pressure and follow every movement
– optimum body adjustment and maximum pressure balance
– Manually adjustable strength and firmness for each pair of multipoint connectors – individual body zoning for different users
– 100% lying surface up to the edge – overall suspension across the entire frame; no uncomfortable centre bars in double beds
– Option of Retro-Moving-System (RMS) – automatic backwards sliding system of the lying surface when the back section is activated, as you are always at an equal distance to your bedside table
– Standalone version with attractive design legs
– Available in designs to insert or to build into a bed frame
