Product description

Concept

LIBRE means free, but it also sounds like “book”, It is a word that totally expresses the imaginar y that this object emanates. LIBRE can contain both paperbacks to over-sized books: it’s like a “Lego brick” you can build a house of books with. It is a bookcase system based on a single module, which can be widened as you like. The single module can be rotated around two axes to originate eight different positions. It can be used to create free-standing double-face compositions or compositions laid on the floor or again hanging wall compositions. In each solution, several are the possible compositions, which are obtained by using from one up to endless elements. Endless are also the formal solutions which derive from the different compositions, all characterized by a strong value. Single units can also be used as a bench or a low table. It is available in two different wood veneers, or colour lacquered, and aluminium.
