Concept

The glass shades are opalized in the most elaborate process, namely by the fact that the mouth-blown inner basic form of clear glass is first "overlaid" by a middle layer of white glass, which in turn is "overlaid" by a final one of clear glass. (Overlay glass). The light cast from such a shade is brilliant, but glare-free.
