Swedish designers Claesson Koivisto Rune have given the 100-year-old 811 model a contemporary twist for the modern world. The result is a modern, minimalist piece that elevates any interior. The laser-made holes add a uniquely playful touch.

Concept

The 822 Collection, by Swedish studio Claesson Koivisto Rune, is a modern take on our classic 811. It has a characteristic pattern of holes which can only be called iconic. The chair family with this motif includes a chair, an armchair, high and low barstools and a lounge chair with or without arms. A uniquely comfortable upholstered version is also available for all models. The 822 Collection’s playful design, Scandinavian twist and unexpected strength make it a star. The simple shapes are suitable in many different interiors, making the 822 Collection a favourite in the hospitality and business sectors also.
