Dining tables from Tonon, Designed by Peter Maly
Product description
Concept
What does the A in the name mean? If you look at the table from the side, you can see a shape reminiscent of a letter - a large A. This A was rather accidental in Maly’s first study on this large dining table, which has two long boards in solid wood tilted towards each other. How should they be stabilized? The solution was found using two horizontal reinforcements: the first cross beam in the upper part of the two wooden boards and the second in a lower position. In this way, together with the top, was created a very stable form. This wooden structure has become so beautiful that it had to be left visible. A glass top has been the perfect solution!
